Wattana Trang Hotel

I stayed five days in the AC room for 350bath. It worked excellently, and the room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, good Wifi, and excellent blackout curtains. I had a pleasant view of trees from the window. There was cold and hot drinking water, and they let me use the shared fridge. I was able to keep my bicycle inside the hotel. The hallway was being painted, but the room itself was in very good shape, with two desks, three chairs, and a TV. Ask if you want the room cleaned more often. It's very close to the train station and the morning and night markets.

The room was good for the price, with air conditioning and hot water. I stayed two nights and found the staff very kind and the service great. It's easy to find, close to the clock tower, night market, and train station, with plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops around. A nice place to stay.

The room feels dated, but the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning reliable, and it was good value for money. The location is handy, next to the Cock Tower and 500-600 metres from the train station. The shower pressure was low, and finding a charging plug was tricky, though it was under the bedside table.

Everything was clean, but the rooms are quite old and several things, including the TV and bathroom fixtures, were broken. The price felt fair for what you get. I think the AC rooms are on the second floor and the fan rooms on the fourth, which has a nicer view. I'm not sure about the third floor, and there's no lift. Walk-in rates are 260 for a fan room and 360 for AC, with some nicer rooms available for a little more. I don't think fan rooms can be booked online, only in person.
