Ban Pak Chaytung Trang

The gardens and grounds are lovely and private, and the gardening and cleaning staff do a great job. They’re very friendly too. I lived here for eight months and can’t recommend staying here now. The pool, gym, and rooms haven’t been maintained and are unusable. The pool is dirty and its filter is broken. Management were very rude, and left the toilet in my room unfixed for weeks. They overcharged me for electricity and refused to return any of the money. When I raised these problems, management laughed at and insulted me. I recommended the place six months ago, but the facilities they charge for currently can’t be used.

I first saw the place through a friend who lived here, near the end of my visit to Trang last year. I fell in love with the apartment and decided to stay here on my return. I ended up in that same apartment, and I’m completely happy with it. It’s very clean, private, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. My unit has no apartments above or below it, and the layout keeps the units separate, with very little connection between them. I can listen to music without disturbing the neighbors. The rate is reasonably affordable. It’s a private, safe place to stay in Trang without breaking the bank. Simple transport gets you to shopping, the beach, caves, parks, and other attractions. I had a look at the resort today. The price seems good, the staff are nice, there’s a Chinese restaurant right out front, and the shopping center isn’t far away. I’m undecided about the resort. Maybe staying for a week would give me a better sense of it.
