The only real plus for me was the nearby 7-Eleven. The service didn't justify what we paid, 38,000 INR for two days seemed far too much. The hotel is a long way from the beach, and the bathroom was poorly equipped: no partition, empty soap and shampoo dispensers, and a leaking faucet that couldn't be used. They later gave us individual tubes of soap and shampoo. Pickup and drop-off were limited or unavailable, and the food choices were insufficient. I think a fair booking rate would be no more than 6,000 INR. We spent New Year's Eve there, but there was no celebration organized. We also couldn't get a taxi because none were available. Although self-drive scooter rental was advertised, reception didn't seem interested in helping us rent one. I also wouldn't recommend booking through MakeMyTrip.

The staff were exceptionally polite, kind, and helpful, and the room was clean and tidy. The air conditioning worked well, noise insulation was acceptable, and the clean mattress and linens were in good shape. Breakfast was better than I expected. The airline put us here after our flight was cancelled. Still, it felt like a three-star stay at most, not a four-star one. The room was basic, as were the bathroom and shower. The hotel sits in an unattractive area by a road and rather poor residential buildings. The small pool had leaves floating in it. It might do for one night, but I think several nights here would feel quite depressing.

The location was handy, close to restaurants and shops, and it was good value for money. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff were always polite and helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!

What bothered me most was how the reception staff handled our request. Every time we asked something, we got the same almost scripted answer, with no empathy or effort to understand our situation. It didn't feel welcoming, more like we were being processed. Checkout is at 12 PM and check-in at 3 PM, which is understandable. But when we asked for a little extra time, they wanted 200 THB per hour and offered no flexibility. A polite explanation or even a small effort to help would have made a difference. Hospitality is also about how guests are treated. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for staff who are understanding and welcoming.
