Villa Macaque and Villa Languor

We spent four days in November at the Villa Macaque master suite. The villa, setting, and staff were outstanding, with capable people ready to look after what we needed. We could also use all the facilities at the luxury hotel next door, reached via the gorgeous beach. Five stars hardly feels enough. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay and didn't want to leave. Ai Shya, Eew and Natasha treated us wonderfully. Ai Shya arranged tours and transport, and when she noticed our good wine was running low, she organized a dozen bottles for us to choose from. The service was excellent. I'm still not sure what Eew and Natasha's roles were. They couldn't speak English, and our attempts to find out what they were there to do mostly went unanswered. A page on the table listing the things they could help with would be useful. Still, five stars!

We were looked after so well by the staff. It was an amazing stay in a timeless place.

I booked a master bedroom for one night because I only had one day off left and wanted somewhere special to enjoy clear sea water, a beautiful beach, and the scenery. This place met everything I was looking for, and I wasn't disappointed. The location is incredible, the sea is just steps from where you sleep, and I could even enjoy the magnificent view from bed. It really felt like heaven on earth. Khun Sha, Khun Pak and Khun Gin are wonderful and extremely helpful. I'll definitely come back.
