KP Hotel Udonthani

The room itself was clean, but there was a lot wrong elsewhere. The pool was dirty, the outside looked untidy and run down, the toilet was loose, the sink leaked, and the air conditioning was very noisy. I could also hear traffic all night. At 690 baht, it felt far too expensive, especially with no breakfast included. The staff could have been more welcoming and helpful. A smile would have gone a long way, particularly in Thailand.

The neighborhood was quite quiet, and most of the rooms seemed empty, so I felt like I was the only guest. I’d paid for a room, but when I arrived late at night the hotel looked abandoned. I decided to check into another place, even though I’d already paid.

Breakfast was the weak point. The eggs and sausage that were meant to be hot were cold, and there wasn’t much else to pick from. Still, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was nice. A good basic hotel.

The rooms are okay, but they always have a strong, strange smell. The pool is in poor condition and stays very dirty. It seems they never clean it or change the water. Everything is very overpriced.
