The insects were a big problem. There were lots of flies and mosquitoes in the room and on the beach, and we came away with red marks on our bodies. In the room, the floors weren't clean, with hair and sand left by previous guests. The furniture was very old and broken, as shown in the photos. This is an old, dirty hotel and a very big disappointment. It was not peaceful at all. People played beach ball noisily in front of the hotel, and street sellers passed by with loud music and announcements. Breakfast was extremely poor, with almost no variety. The so-called orange juice tasted like colored, artificially flavored water. Getting to Chantaburi was another problem. Grab showed 200 baht, but there were no cars available in this isolated area, so we had to use the hotel's old, open pickup trucks and pay 400-500 baht each way. I suspect the hotel gets a commission from those drivers. They also charged a 150 baht cleaning fee for each towel, even though the dirt was ordinary, as the photos show. No hotel has ever charged me to wash towels before. Laundry for one towel is 20 baht, and a new one costs 70-100 baht, yet this hotel charges 150 baht per towel and doesn't give it to you afterward. I believe this dishonest place shouldn't be listed on hotel booking apps.

A lovely resort by the beach with nice views. Getting around could be difficult if you don't drive.

For a peaceful stay away from the busy tourist areas, this is a good option. The sea view rooms are good if you can book early. You can have dinner on the beach at Rabian chan restaurant, which belongs to the resort.
