Lux Inn

Rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. You’ll need transport to get food and beer. There’s nowhere to sit outside with a beer, though.

I slept well in the comfortable bed, and the service was good. The bathroom door in Room 214 wouldn’t shut properly, though. Not sure if that’s the design or what, but whenever I used the toilet, the smell spread through the whole room! 😅

Food and supplies are available 24 hours, and the service is quick and good. I paid 699 baht for one night in a Japanese-style room. The appliances and hairdryer were brand new, and it felt amazing to get so much for the price. It’s like getting a jacuzzi for the night, with Netflix and YouTube access. Excellent!

They charged us 380 for 3 hours, though it normally costs 280. They knew we wanted the room. Once inside, it looked like the last customer had just left: dust everywhere, tissue paper still on the trash can, and no bottled water. The air conditioner wasn’t working, and after more than an hour in the room we were sweating. I won’t come back. Maybe I didn’t book correctly, or maybe they just wanted the money and rushed to rent it out.
