The place was okay, but 8000 Baht a day felt too expensive.

The owner is running a cheating scam. The place looks nothing like the pictures.

At 8000 baht a day, you'd expect not to have to clean the house yourself. A housekeeper only comes every two days to change the sheets and wipe things down. Check everything closely both when you arrive and when you leave. They may claim something is broken to take money from your deposit. We rented for a week at that rate, and they could deduct 200 baht for two glasses that were already cracked before we got there. They seem willing to make a deduction over even little things. Be careful, and inspect the whole place before you move in.

We went to the mall for food and used the villa's BBQ set to have a yakiniku party with friends. The facilities were in excellent shape, and the villa itself was well cared for, with a good layout, pool, and garden. There are convenience stores and restaurants close enough to walk to, while the beach, shopping mall, and floating market are a short drive away. We took a car or taxi into town and to Walking Street, and called a taxi with Uber or something similar when heading out from the villa for drinks. The management company was very nice. A group of friends and I had no complaints about the place, and I highly recommend this high-quality villa.
