The polite, friendly front desk team and security guard were the best part of my one-night stay, and they’re why I’m giving it four stars instead of the three I first had in mind. They were helpful and made a positive difference. The room was passable, but upkeep was an issue: paint was peeling from the ceiling, and the TV remote barely worked. I had to unplug the TV to switch it off. I paid 710 baht, and for that condition there are better places nearby for less. Overall, the hotel felt average.

The room had a horrible smell, like it had come straight from world air 2!!! There were stains and hair all over both the cover and blanket. It was freaking terrible. Don’t you dare stay here.

There were loads of mosquitoes in my room, and it was a miracle that even one of the two air conditioners still worked. The sheets, blanket, and pillows were covered in stains and hair. The room felt like it had been sitting in a sewer drain since the 1800s.

The staff were polite, but seemed clueless, and the building showed signs of leaks and poor maintenance. The rooms were dirty. After our room turned out so badly, we looked at a suite instead. It was bigger, nicer, and about three times the size, but had no windows at all. We wanted to be able to look outside, so we ended up staying in our small, dirty room.

The rooms are large and clean, and the beds are comfortable. It’s not too far from the city centre if you’re driving, and Lampang airport is a short drive or cab/Uber ride away. The front desk is staffed 24/7, which made checking in easy.
