NonNee Lampang Hotel

The room was on the third floor and breakfast is on the fourth, so I could hear cutlery clinking against plates in the morning. The building has an open interior, a bit like an Indian courtyard house, so sounds carry across it. The walls are thin too, and I could hear people talking, doors closing, footsteps, and even bathroom noises. I woke up a few times, so I didn't sleep very well, despite the really comfortable bed. I stayed two nights, and for the price it was pretty good. The location is right in the city, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, the cleaning lady was so kind, and all the staff were friendly. I was impressed by how welcoming they were: I arrived around 9 AM, well before the 2 PM check-in, just needing a place to park my car. They immediately let me park early, which made me feel cared for. Breakfast is free and better than expected, with fried rice and spaghetti as well as bread and eggs. There is indoor and outdoor parking. They provide one bottle of water per person, a hairdryer, soap, shampoo, and a shower cap, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. A few other drawbacks: the bathroom is quite small with no separate dry and wet area, and the Wi-Fi didn't work on my first night. Still, it's a solid budget hotel with a great location, lovely staff, a comfy bed, and good value. It can be noisy, but at this price I'd still stay here.
