The rooms were clean and comfortable, though families with young children should be mindful of the upper floors. The handrails are high, and adding a bed may affect how it sits near the bed area. Staff service was satisfactory. Breakfast has a small selection of local and Western dishes, and the rice soup was tasty. The location makes it easy to reach town, grocery shops, and restaurants. There are a few night markets within a 15 km drive, and Choui fong tea garden and a goat farm are next door. Doi tung and Mae Salong are also reachable in about 40 minutes.

We had the place to ourselves that night, and it made me wish more people could enjoy its atmosphere. In the morning we had fun walking through the large pineapple field. The house has distinctive design and decor, a comfortable bed, and a generous breakfast. It’s a hidden garden worth finding.

The house and scenery were lovely, with especially good views at sunrise and sunset. I liked staying somewhere with windows on a partial second floor. The roof angle felt a little awkward when lying in bed, though, and the water heater didn’t provide as much heat as we wanted even at its highest setting. It was quite cold during our stay. Breakfast was adequate. I’d recommend it if you’re after quiet and beautiful views.

The outside looks picture perfect, the morning view is great, and breakfast was good. Inside, though, it felt bare, with too few tables and chairs. There are no window screens, so we couldn’t open the windows for fresh air at night even though it was cool. Avoid OZONE 3. Its toilet faces the front of the house, with a large frosted window that people outside could still see through. It’s also right by the lobby where people are constantly coming and going, so we had to cover the window with a cloth. The same issue affected both floors. Upstairs, the toilet had no ceiling, and a plumbing problem meant we could smell the previous guests’ waste while trying to sleep. My dad had recently had lung surgery, so it was a very hard night. We wore masks all night and couldn’t move because we’d arrived late after our flight and the resort was full. Staff knew about the smell when we got the room. They apologized and said they were trying to clear it. The next day, the resort offered us a move to another two single houses, charging 50% for the first night, and those were much better.
