Maerim Villa & Pool

Teak made sure we had a memorable time in Chiang Mai, and she was warm and attentive throughout. The pool was great for cooling down on hot days, and breakfast was delicious. Getting to the city takes about 40 minutes, but Teak arranged an affordable car service when we needed one. The villas can fit plenty of people, so I’d especially recommend them for big families or groups. Kids would probably love the pool too. My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mae Rim, with top-notch service.

After the long drive from Pai, we stayed for one night and appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the owners were. They mum kindly made us phad Thai even though it wasn’t on the menu, and we ate beside the lovely swimming pool. Our room was on the top floor, on the 1st floor. It wasn’t fancy, but it was comfortable and practical, with a good bed, A/C, and an adequate shower room. There were two chairs and a table outside the room, and covered parking for a car or bike. The night was quiet, with no road noise, and 7/11 was only a few minutes’ walk across the main road.

We referred a business acquaintance to stay here on 26 April 2022. A severe storm brought heavy rain and powerful winds that uprooted trees around the subdivision, and the power went out, making the stay somewhat uncomfortable. Villa Pool is in KheeLek Subdivision, opposite KheeLek Tessaban. It has a restaurant, recreational facilities, swimming, poolside refreshments, showers, and other conveniences. There are treehouse rooms for photos, larger facilities for groups, and hotel-style accommodation at a range of prices. It’s well worth a visit, with delicious menus and welcoming hospitality.

The staff are really friendly and accommodating, and there are pleasant little communities and rice fields to explore nearby. It’s a nice, relaxing place to stay, not too far from Chiang Mai city.
