There’s plenty of parking out front, and a market with drinks for sale right nearby. A couple of restaurants are within walking distance as well. Breakfast can be ordered at a reasonable price and is served in the hotel breakfast room. Coffee is available at reception in the morning. I paid 650 THB through Agoda for a Standard room. For that price, what you get feels fair. The room was 27 square meters, with a decent sized bathroom and a balcony with a table and chairs, which you don’t see everywhere. The hotel is older and past its heyday, but still works reasonably well. Water collected around the toilet, though after a shower the whole floor gets wet anyway because there’s no division between the shower and toilet.

The location makes errands easy: the market, convenience store, laundry shop, and massage shop are all close by. There’s a large parking area with a security guard watching the cars, which felt reassuring. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is in a great spot. There’s a big staircase at the entrance, but an elevator is downstairs for anyone who’d rather not use the stairs. 👍🏻 A good place to stay in Mahasarakham. ✨✨

The night market is just across the street, and the location is excellent. My room was huge. Breakfast was okay.

For 600 baht it was a great deal. The room felt modern and quiet, with a good bathroom and air conditioner. I had a decent laptop desk and four power sockets. The lobby had loads of mosquitoes, but there weren’t any in our room on the second floor. The room service menu was in two languages, though I didn’t try the food. From the highway I only saw a big Thai sign spelling out “Your Place,” not an English sign, but GPS worked accurately.

There’s lots to eat and drink, with music at the Wangyao evening market right next door. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores are an easy walk away.
