The Inka Hotel

I believe staff are involved in criminal activity, namely stealing from guest rooms. Three housekeeping staff entered my room to clean and stole a bottle of beer. I complained to reception, and we watched the corridor CCTV, which didn’t show inside the room and was inconclusive. The bottle could have been hidden under a towel or something. The receptionist denied it, and honestly, she may be involved too. This isn’t the first review about theft, so look through the other similar reviews.

I only needed one night in Nakhon Si Thammarat, so I took a chance on this very cheap room. It was dirty, with dust and bugs everywhere, and ants in the bed. We asked to switch rooms, but the replacement was the same, so I checked out right away and went elsewhere. It’s near the train station, and the staff were friendly and tried their best to help. If you want a cheap hotel and don’t mind a few ants, it may suit you.

After reading the bad reviews, I expected worse, but my experience this week was much better. I got a decent, clean room, and for the price, it was a very positive stay.

I was on the 3rd floor in room 303, but there were ants everywhere, including in the bed, and I had to kill a cockroach. The bed linen was stained, there was lots of dust behind the sofa, and the towel was torn. Worst of all, the cleaner stole my bar of soap. I had to use my own because the hotel only provides bath foam, even though there’s no bath in the room.
