Panya Garden Resort

After a long day driving, sitting out on the balcony with the garden around me and the birds and nighttime sounds was exactly what I needed. The owner's well-behaved dogs kept me company, too. The bungalow is huge for the price, and while it’s older, it was clean. It’s a solid place to stop over, not far from the local market or the PTT station with Amazon and 7-11.

For $20, it’s alright. The beds may feel a bit too hard if you’re a Westerner over 40, and I’d bring earplugs. We heard a few dog fights outside our hut during the night. Some local kids also ride their scooters nearby without exhausts.

We paid 650 baht for a private villa, and the room was big and fairly clean. The place is reasonable for the price, especially since it was hard to find other good hotels in the area. The staff were very kind and lovely, and they allowed my dog. There were lots of big dogs outside, though, and they advised us not to take our pets for walks. I’d also suggest cleaning the spider webs in the room. Still, I’d be fine staying here again if I visit the area.

The bed was super hard, and the room smelled until we aired everything out, though it was okay clean. Even though we booked through Booking.com, they didn’t know we were coming. The dogs at the place were really nice, though 🐕😀
