Huen Chang Puek Hotel

The traditional wooden house has a pleasant, shady setting, and it’s near the city and its attractions. I was impressed by the accommodation and the warm staff. There’s a small bar inside where you can sit and have a drink. A fantastic hotel, and I’d recommend staying here when visiting Nan.

The owners were very kind, made sure we had what we needed, and even helped with our washing. It’s a nice place with a cosy feel, a good room, and a lovely help-yourself toast breakfast. We did have ants in the bathroom, a cold shower, and a double bed that felt quite small, not like a queen. It’s also a little out of town. Still, I liked the place and the owners, and would stay again.

The guest house is fantastic value, and the massage is a good deal too. Coffee is still going strong, but they’ve stopped serving lunch, which they used to offer. It’s a nice place to hang out on cooler days since there’s no air conditioning. The Wi-Fi is strong and reliable.

It’s a vintage industrial-style hostel near the airport. The room is a decent size and has what you need. Breakfast was local northern food, rice, boiled rice, some Thai desserts, and fruit. All in all, okay.
