The resort has a cozy room with European decor, plus a food stall serving local dishes. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. You’ll need a rental vehicle or an e-hailing ride to get around Nong Khai easily. Ban Mai market (Ban Mai Market) is 4 minutes away (1.8 km), and the Thai-Laos border checkpoint is 5 minutes away (2.1 km). The train station takes 6 minutes (3.3 km), Tha Sadet market or the city centre is 10 minutes away (5.5 km), and the bus station is 12 minutes away (6 km).

The staff were lovely and polite, and I’d definitely stay here again on another trip to Nong Khai. It was busy when I visited, so they may not have been able to look after everyone. We had to ask for a few things that were missing, but the atmosphere was great.

The garden is beautiful, and the owner is friendly. Food was delicious, and the rooms are spacious. Kids should love the family room with its attic. The fans keep it cooler than air conditioning, so the heat wasn’t a concern.

The room was clean and just as it looked in the photos, and the staff were sweet and polite. I’d happily return if I get the chance. It rained heavily while I was there, though, and some flooding occurred.
