This is the best course around Nong Khai and Udon. Mature trees frame every hole, so your drive needs to find the right side of the fairway for a clear approach. Water comes into play on some holes, though it isn’t too intrusive. The small greens usually run fast and have some slopes. Fairways are generally in good condition, and the course is well kept. There are useful short game practice areas and a driving range, though it never seems to be open. The clubhouse and locker rooms could use a refresh. I paid 800 baht for 18 holes on a Wednesday, including green and caddy fees. It’s easy to walk, so you can skip the cart, which costs 400 baht. Excellent value overall.

The course has a lovely park like feel, with mature trees and a great layout. The caddies are sweet and know the course well. Facilities are dated, though that gives the place a quirky charm, and the food was tasty. For me, it’s the best course in the Udon Thani area.
