There’s another resort nearby with much better hospitality. We would not recommend this one at all. The host’s expression and body language made us feel unwelcome, as if she wanted us gone straight away. The rules didn’t make sense to us, including having to wear a facemask while walking around the compound. We think she’d be better suited to running a boarding school than a “resort.”
We left our deposit and cancelled the booking because the receptionist, an older woman, refused to speak with us when we arrived without facemasks. We had just gotten out of the car at 10pm with our family. Asking us politely would have been fine, but instead she ignored us and wrote a note telling us to wear masks. She later asked about my family and gestured that only my wife could stay, with no children. I have a toddler and an infant, and she expected us to rent another room. That felt unfair for a place called PEACE RESORT. It was the worst hospitality we’ve encountered in Thailand, and I personally think the woman was racist.
The grounds are well kept and there’s parking. This is a fairly new hotel, though I wouldn’t call it a resort, and it seems to be used mostly for short stays. Rates are 250.00 for a few hours or 680 for a night, which seem fair. Some rooms are available for longer rentals, with the price negotiable at check-in.
Comfortable, clean, and new. A really nice place at a good price.
The service was the worst. I won’t be coming back.
