Grand Sansook Omnoi

The rooms feel new, and they're clean and tidy in a pleasant setting. I did have trouble communicating with staff as a foreigner, and there seems to be a gap with the online booking system. Still, it's a very good hotel.

Noi was especially friendly and professional, and the nearby 7-Eleven and public transport are handy. The area around the hotel is average. My simple room had what I needed for a comfortable night: a mini fridge, TV, wardrobe, roomy balcony, and a really soft, comfy bed. The small bathroom has basic but functional amenities. Good for a short, convenient stay.

We paid 480 baht a night on Agoda for a weekday stay, and it felt like good value. The road isn't a main one and there are lots of shops and apartments around, so drive carefully. Near the hotel you go through an apartment gate and its parking area before reaching the hotel entrance. There was plenty of parking, the reception was friendly, the room was clean, and the AC worked well. The bed, pillow, and blanket were comfortable. The water heater had an issue: even its lowest setting was as hot as the highest. That was still fine for me, better than a cold shower. Soap and a small shampoo packet were provided, along with two bottles of water in the fridge. You can buy anything else you need. The key deposit was 300 baht. They didn't have change and asked if they could take 500 baht instead. They gave us a proper receipt, so that was okay with us.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was nice. The location and road work well if you're traveling by personal car. Everything was satisfying.
