Le Touché Hotel Pratunam

I stayed for 5 days, from February 16-21. Things seemed nice at first. For a long time, one of the hotel staff was a thin, middle-aged white man without glasses, whose admin was on the hotel staff. He wasn't friendly to us outsiders. His performance and behavior should be good.

The beds were a little too solid, but the hotel smelled very clean, and from my room on the 4th floor I couldn't hear the market. It was a bit hard to find at first, and getting in by car was difficult, though the staff helped unload our luggage. The location is very convenient in the middle of a market. The staff are friendly, and the front house workers knew English and Burmese, so communication was easy.

The mattresses were the worst part. I paid for 3 nights but left after just 1 and lost the payment for the other two days, moving to a different hotel. The shopping area is good, but the streets are so congested that even cars struggle to pass. Sleepstation building 2 is down a narrow street where you have to haul your bags yourself, since cars can't get there. Hawkers make noise late into the night, which made it hard to sleep.

Our group of different ages, including a kid and some seniors, booked 4 rooms at this affordable hotel in Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand. I was unsure at first if it would work for everyone, but the staff agreed to our early check-in after our flight from the Philippines landed at 7:00am, even though the usual check-in time was 2:00pm. Rooms were clean and modestly large for 3 people. They did room service daily, replenished water and coffee, and provided fresh towels regularly. The hotel sits right in the middle of a shopping district, so lots of things are close by and we saved time and money on getting around. It's very affordable for the location, and booking early may get you a better rate. We enjoyed our stay and would consider Sleepstation @Pratunam again on a future Bangkok trip.
