I spent about 10 days here, and the bed was really comfortable. They provided fresh towels and sheets when I asked. The place has a couple of rooms with either air conditioning or a fan, and each has a private bathroom. There are restaurants and cafés nearby, though getting to the walking street often is easier by scooter. The owners, Lip and Tarn, know lots of good nature spots around Pai. They even took a friend and me on a great jungle hike to a waterfall, crossing several streams along the way. Guests often gather around the fire pit or relax in the hammocks in the middle of the property. Lip and Tarn are lovely, and there's a guitar to play, too.

The grounds are a nice, rustic courtyard, with a treehouse in the middle, tables and chairs, and plenty of parking. The location is decent. It's inexpensive and a big step up from sleeping in a car, but I won't stay here again. The room was sparse: a bed, a bedside table, and a small clothes rail with two wire hangers. The mattress on a platform was actually comfortable. There were no chairs or kettle, and no hot water or anything like that. The fan was very loud and didn't seem to have a low setting. The laminate floor was badly installed, and the bathroom was moldy. We got two towels, two tiny bars of soap, a pump bottle of hand soap, and two bottles of water. Over two days, nobody took out the trash, changed the towels, or did anything. The Wi-Fi was terrible, and the password on the wall sign was wrong. I offered to pay extra for the treehouse, but the owner wouldn't upgrade my room.

The place has a really relaxed, laid-back feel, and the accommodation is great. The owners and workers are lovely. Stay here!

It really feels like home here. The staff are so nice and friendly, and I especially loved the common area. It's a good spot to hang out, share time with friends, meet people, and make new friends. I'd definitely come back.
