The place was peaceful, the room was good, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly, and there's a group chat for meeting people and arranging fun things to do. It's a little out of the way, but that helped keep the stay quiet.

The location is outside Pai's busy center, about a 15-20 minute walk, and the quieter setting comes with nature views and less noise. It suited me, though having transport or being happy to walk helps. For the price, there's a lot of space and comfort, with a large garden, hammocks, BBQ facilities, a billiards table, and places to sit outside. You can choose a dorm, private bungalow, or tent. The huts are roomy, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms worked fine, though some are open to the sky. The staff, including owner Pei, are warm and helpful. It has a relaxed, social backpacker feel, with plenty of ways to unwind. A few things to keep in mind: cleanliness can be uneven, and bedsheets may not always have been changed between guests. Bugs can get in if doors or windows are left open at night. Noise from other guests or music may carry, so light sleepers should be aware.

I didn't mind the evening get-togethers, despite what some people have said. But I wouldn't choose the small bungalow for more than one night. The bathroom smelled really bad, and it was obvious the room hadn't been cleaned. There were cigarette bits on the floor and shelf, hair on the toilet, and marks on the bedsheets. I was between three and four stars, but those issues make it three for me.

There's plenty of outdoor space to wander around and relax, and I thought the place was nice overall. The owner was a warm, helpful host. The rooms are okay for the price, though the bathroom could use improvement since it has no roof. It's a bit away from town, but getting there is easy with a scooter. There were lots of ants on the floor and bed, which I didn't mind much. Do be careful about leaving the door open at night, even briefly, or bugs can get into the room.

We had a very quiet stay, though it was low season, so I can't say how busy it gets at peak times. Pei, the owner, was around and ready to help with anything we needed. The bungalows felt comfortable and clean, both the bedroom and bathroom, and the shower had hot water all day. The price was fair, with lovely open nature and mountain views. It's close to the center by bike or on foot. Thanks, Tribal.
