Fountain Tree Resort (SHA Extra Plus)

The pool had a lot of leaves, and there were hundreds of bees outside. Some activities were in poor shape and had dirty water in them. The bathroom floor was slippery, and there were advertisements in the bathroom too. I gave it 2 stars because the price was only 1600฿ per person.

The coffee stall in the lobby was good ☕, and there were plenty of activities around the resort, including Archery, Paintball, ATV, and Laser Tags. The pool was pretty deep for children, though there were no lifeguards around. As a school camp advisor, I saw large groups of students from other schools every day throughout our stay, so this may not suit anyone who hates kids shouting and screaming. The green surroundings were very scenic. Our room was OK, though some beds seemed better than others. The soap smelled really funky, while the shampoo was fine, and the toilet was clean in our experience. Housekeepers brought us more water but left the empty bottles behind. There seemed to be central WiFi, but none in each room. Food was lacking in variety and a bit inconsistent. Salad vegetables were limited and not the freshest, and dishes varied from bland to properly seasoned to too salty.

My family and I ended up staying here this weekend because it was the closest place we could find for our activity. It was another disappointing stay. The photos online were nothing like the actual place. I thought it might be about 80% as nice as pictured, but that wasn't the case at all. They should take those photos down and post pictures of what it's really like. The room was dusty and dirty, and so was the incomplete bathroom. There was a shower curtain rod but no curtain. The soap smelled like rotten fruit, and the lavatory and toilet were broken down and rusty. They worked, but were disgusting. The light was dim, there were spiders around the bedroom, and the bedsheets weren't clean. The staff didn't seem to want to be there. The walls were so thin we could hear the people next door being noisy and snoring. This place made number 2 on my Top Worst Places To Stay.

The view and atmosphere were really nice, and breakfast was yummy with lots of choices. I spent one night and a day there and had a lot of experiences. The water looked yellow, so I don't think it was clean, and some of my friends had itchy or allergic skin reactions. There were lots of fun activities, but Laser gun and Biking were my favorites. The staff weren't friendly or helpful at all.
