Hillside Residence Khaoyai

I’m formally complaining about the cleanliness during my one-night stay in Room 207 at your Romantic Residence on the 22nd-23rd Jan. The room was in unacceptable condition. The garbage had been left long enough to smell foul, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The bin was completely full too. This falls below basic hotel hygiene standards, and I’m very disappointed with the stay.

A good place for a break with a partner or family. There’s a restaurant and spa on the property. We used the spa and Onsen, which are separated for men and women but shared rather than private. Overall, it was better than I expected.

Our room was clean and nice, and there was plenty of space for a family with pets. We brought our dog. Room service was the only issue, as it wasn’t very responsive. You can also use the facilities at Lacol hotel. A nice experience overall.

The air conditioner stayed very loud even on its lowest setting, and the staff felt unfriendly and uninterested. We also sent several emails after booking and got no reply. The place was much worse than the photos and reviews led us to expect: old and dirty, with basic things missing, like bedside tables, towel hooks, and spare toilet paper. The smallest room in our suite smelled moldy, and the breakfast room floor was sticky, with hair everywhere.
