Paul and Chart were always around to answer questions and share helpful local tips, including what to do and what to avoid. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout. I’d been concerned by the negative reviews, but the rooms looked just like the website photos and the location was excellent. You’re close to everything Patong offers, while the atmosphere still feels relaxed and casual. It’s an easy place to meet other travelers and make new mates. Reception can also book day trips, and the guidance came with no pressure. Keep realistic expectations of the property and it’s a fantastic place to stay. I’ll definitely be back.

We checked in on Christmas Day, saw our room, and left right away. It looked nothing like the pictures on the website. After looking around the rest of the property, we found it sleazy throughout. The rooftop hot tub and lounge chairs were filthy, and the sauna room was dark, dirty, and seedy. It was far worse than a sleazy bath house, nothing like the photos suggested. We booked new accommodations and asked for a refund because the listing was so misleading, but got no response. If you want to stay in that area, there’s a nice hotel right across from this one. I wouldn’t stay here under any circumstances.

Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were worried it might be noisy at night, but somehow the room stayed quiet despite the loud music from nearby nightclubs. We also met a great group of fellow travelers and a few locals visiting the sauna. The upper deck was a nice place to hang out, though it needs maintenance to make it fully enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked our stay, and it was great value for gay travelers.

Paul and the staff were kind and welcoming, and I had a great four-night stay despite being a little concerned by the reviews. The sauna was a good way to unwind after the beach, the gym had everything I needed, and breakfast was solid. Just keep your expectations realistic. It’s not a brand-new five-star hotel like some reviewers seemed to expect. This was a great first stay at a gay hotel for me.
