I paid extra for a street-view room, but all I could see was pipes. Some view. The room’s look can speak for itself in the photos. On top of that, the place had no proper water supply: there was no water from 8:00 PM until 9:00 AM the next day, so no shower and the toilet wouldn’t flush. The towels and bed linen were darkened and dirty, which makes you wonder about the cleanliness. This place can wreck your holiday mood and your nerves. I won’t get into the staff. A complete disaster.

The staff were helpful and had a good attitude, especially the Indian boy who made us feel at home. The hotel was clean, and the room had a comfortable bed, AC, and a television. Patong Beach is about 100 meters away, and Bangla Road is around 500 meters away. There’s also a market, transport, and food nearby.

Everything felt old and smelled bad. The mattress springs were broken and noisy, and my parents couldn’t sleep for any of the three nights. My friend had booked three nights, but stayed only one before falling sick, then had to pay out of pocket for another hotel. The TV didn’t work. I asked for a TV box for two nights and was told it would be connected, but nothing happened. Toiletries weren’t replenished during our three-night stay. This was my first really bad stay.

The location is the one good thing. The rooms were small, dark, dingy, damp, and unclean, and looked nothing like the fake photos on the different websites. Utterly disgusting otherwise.

Mr. Bright at reception was really friendly and helpful, and made the stay fun and pleasant. The hotel is in a great spot, and its strong AC was welcome in the Phuket heat.
