Break Point Patong Hotel

The food is unreal, especially the Arabian Chicken over rice, which was so tender it fell off the bone. The pinacolada was very tasty too. It's really close to the beach and quiet at night. I've stayed at three other hotels in this area over two weeks, and this is the best so far. There's no way this is a 2 star hotel. I highly recommend it.

Getting my deposit back was super fast, and they were easy to deal with. It's very close to the walking street. I'll come back.

We haven't stayed here, but we've eaten here twice and liked how clean everything seemed, including the menu. A lot of places have sticky, grubby menus, so that stood out. The owner is hands-on, greeting guests and serving tables. Service was friendly, the food was good, and prices were good too. I'd recommend the green curry, spicy prawn lemongrass salad, squid rings, and banana fritters.

The prices looked good, so after an okay Greek salad on my first visit, I returned the next evening for calamari and Red Curry. Both were excellent. The following day I had Vegetable Fried Rice and Chicken with Cashew, and both were fantastic. Finally, somewhere that uses spur chillies instead of plain capsicums. I don't want to risk a bad meal elsewhere, so I'll eat here for the rest of my stay in Patong. The food really is that good, and very well priced.
