Finding the entrance can be a little tricky. Go into the alley behind the restaurant and tattoo parlor to reach the front desk. The stairs are right beside the Thai Food place. I loved staying here. The host was welcoming and kind, and the place was so clean. The beach is very close, and everything important is within walking distance. The price felt really good too. I'd definitely come back.

A rude Thai lady told me to leave the bar downstairs and sprinkle salt around it while I was still deciding about my drink. Rude people! Don't sit there.

The bathrooms smelled bad, there were cockroaches in the bed linen, and the service wasn't good.

We left the room key and contacted the hostel later, but never got our money back. We'd arranged an early checkout for departure day, and reception repeatedly assured us someone would be there to return our deposit. Nobody showed up that morning.

We booked two nights but wound up staying five. The sleeping cabins give everyone privacy, and the staff, some of whom live and sleep there too, clean several times a day. They even hang our clothes out to dry.
