After five weeks at The Rose guest House, heading back to Europe is hard, but I'm already looking forward to returning in May. Hannah and Adam, plus all the amazing crew, made it feel like home from the first moment to the last. They looked after everything I needed, shared lots of tips, and were genuinely friendly and professional. The beach, bars, restaurants, and 7/11 are all nearby, about a two-minute walk, and the location gets a 10/10 from me. Rooms were cleaned every day, and they provided beach towels, drinks, and more. Service and staff both get 10/10. I already miss you guys.

The host was friendly and helpful, but the room itself was in really bad shape and smelled unpleasant. The towels weren't clean, the sheets had holes, and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. There was a cigarette smell in the bathroom, too. Water dripped from the ceiling right beside a power outlet, which felt like a safety hazard.

A terrible stay. The shower door was very hard to close, and the air conditioning was noisy and kept giving off odd smells that irritated my throat. I brought up several problems, but the owner kept making excuses instead of fixing them.

The room was spacious, but pretty dated and in need of some TLC. There was a cigarette burn in the mattress, and the hotel had a general smell to it. The location is great if you're in Patong for a boozy trip, right by the beach with a cute coffee and breakfast place just outside. The room itself was very average.
