ETK Patong

Stayed 10-13th November and was seriously satisfied with ETK Patong Hotel. It’s cheap, but the room is really decent for a budget stay, and the location makes it easy to get around, close to everything. The receptionist and other staff were super nice and helpful, and I loved their hospitality. Everything went smoothly with zero issues. Totally worth it, and I’d definitely stay again when I’m in Phuket! 🙌✨

The bed was large and comfy. This place seems suited to families, but not digital nomads. The wifi kept slowing down and disconnecting, like it was exhausted. Someone knocked even though I had the “do not disturb” sign up and woke me. Israeli music was playing too loudly.

I went to the ETK 24/7 coin laundry service on Thursday, 19 February, 2026, around 9:30 a.m. There was a small washing machine available, but an employee wouldn’t let me use it and told me to take a larger machine. It was too big for my load and cost more. It didn’t make sense. She argued and made excuses instead of listening or trying to solve the problem. I found her rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and lacking in manners. It upset me. I won’t return, and I’ll use Otteri or another wash and dry service instead. 😠

I rented a scooter through the hotel’s side business for 250 Baht a day. They held my passport as the deposit, and the whole process was easy and hassle-free. Both women at reception were polite and helpful 🙂. The scooter was a little old and had visible scratches, so we both took photos and videos for safety. It ran perfectly well. The rental was full tank to full tank, and I returned it late at night without any trouble.
