Good Nice Hotel Patong

I booked five days at Good Nice Hotel, Patong, and ended up staying nearly 15 because I enjoyed the hospitality so much. The manager, a very sweet and genuine woman, made us feel at home. She kindly upgraded our room for free and arranged a motorbike at a fair price. When the bike’s mirror got broken while it was parked, she helped us get it fixed for a very reasonable amount. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. Honest, caring service, and I highly recommend the place.

The bathroom was very dim, and the room cleaning wasn’t good. When we arrived, the bathroom water pressure was weak, though they fixed it after we complained. They also ask for a 1,000 baht deposit on arrival or to hold your passports. The hotel smells damp and unpleasant, and the ceiling leaks when it rains. The view is poor, and it’s far from the beach. Noise is a big problem both day and night: roosters crow all day, and street sounds carry into the room. I found the place depressing. Don’t risk staying here.

I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back. The Superior room had a great view, and the service was excellent. The reception area is also a great place to spend time.

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the rates were very reasonable. Our room had the main amenities and was cleaned every day. It’s a clean, conveniently placed hotel, only a few minutes’ walk from Patong’s major landmarks. I’d recommend it.
