I Am O'Tel Patong

We were close to Patong beach and nearby restaurants, which was handy. I stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every moment. The rooftop pool was beautiful, with a full view of the Andaman sea. The rooms were cleaned each day, and they made sure there was enough water. The staff were amazing and welcoming, and this was the politest, kindest service I’ve received here. I honestly recommend this hotel ☺️🧿🌊

Be careful booking the “Superior Double XL No View” room for 2100 baht per night. Here, “no view” meant the balcony was blocked by a wall just a few cm away, close enough to touch. It wasn’t merely an unattractive view or a balcony over a side street. At reception, my complaint was brushed off with the response that my booking said “no view.” The following day I spoke with the hotel manager and had to put up with insults. When I said the photos advertised for this room weren’t realistic, she asked whether I “wanted to see pictures with pretty girls.” The only offer was to move me to a lower-category room and leave me to sort out any price difference through Booking.com. I feel ripped off. They shouldn’t sell this as a “Superior” room.

The rooms were very clean, and the rooftop swimming pool is a big bonus. It’s also a great location, close to Patong beach, Bangla Street, and other fun places.

I'm O'tel was a lovely way to begin our Thailand Holiday. It’s tucked inside an alley but still centrally placed, quite close to everything in Phuket. The rooms and washrooms were kept up well and cleaned daily, and they give you a free beach towel every day. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and acknowledged us whenever they saw us. They also let us know well ahead of time about short maintenance planned in one of the rooms we’d booked, so we could prepare. And we miss Money, the sweet hotel cat!
