Moonlight Guesthouse

I spent three days searching for the best place to book in Phuket, and found this beautiful house. It’s right in the centre of Phuket, close to beaches, nightlife, and lively areas, but far enough away for quiet sleep surrounded by nature. The host Dear Akaranant was more helpful than I expected, and you can fully trust his hospitality. The home has a Thailand feel, with modern style, comfort, and nature.

The hosts are what make Moonlight House special. They’re kind, helpful, and make you feel at home. The house is beautiful, and its spot is close to everything while still quiet enough to relax. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well cared for. To me, this is the best place to stay in Patong, and I can’t recommend it enough.

The room had everything I needed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. It was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated too. The host and staff were always friendly and helpful, whether I had a question, needed transport help, or wanted local recommendations. They made me feel at home from the start. The location was peaceful and safe, with local attractions, markets, and beautiful beaches a short distance away. I had a wonderful stay in Thailand and would happily come back, whether travelling alone, as a couple, or with family.

After booking Moonlight Guesthouse two months ahead, we found out as soon as we landed at Phuket Airport that they’d double-booked our room and couldn’t host us. We were left without a place to stay in a new city after planning so far ahead. The last-minute cancellation and their lack of responsibility caused a lot of stress and hassle. It was careless and unprofessional. I’d never recommend Moonlight Guesthouse. Avoid it if you don’t want your plans ruined by poor management.
