The location was handy, about 10-15 minutes from the beach and five minutes from the mall or main walking road. The alley has several bars, though, and sometimes the noise went on until 3 a.m. For a budget room, ours was in decent shape. The mini fridge was useful, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was fine. There was no microwave, and the tiny balcony was basically useless. I wish the shower had a curtain because water splashed all over the bathroom. The water never got hotter than lukewarm. At check-in one desk employee was rude because they thought we weren't customers. They were much nicer once they realized we were. Another employee often seemed to be asleep when we came and went, but kindly offered umbrellas when it rained.

The location was one of the better points, with Patong Beach about 10-15 minutes away depending on your pace, time of day, and how you manage the crowds on Bangla Road. Staff were very helpful too. When I had a late flight, the receptionist kindly arranged a free late checkout and called a cab to the airport at a reasonable price. I spent 13 nights here, from December 10 to 23, 2025, and think staying here can be a gamble. As someone from Romania traveling alone, anxious and farther from home than I'd ever been, I feel lucky that it mostly worked out. Read the reviews carefully and consider it before booking. Make sure you get a great price. If nearby hotels don't cost significantly more, I'd suggest staying elsewhere. I hope the owners take the feedback seriously, because the place has potential if they give it proper attention and investment. The building needs serious renovation inside and out, especially the rear facade and balconies. It stands out from nearby hotels in a bad way, and the room furniture could use work too. The attractive online photos look years old. I may have been lucky with my second room: it faced the rear, away from the noise, with a large balcony and nothing blocking the double-glazed windows. The front facade, with the hotel logo, almost entirely covers the windows in some rooms. My first room was a disaster. The shower hose was torn and sprayed water everywhere, water leaked from under the heater, the mattress was shorter than the bed, the tiny balcony had to share space with the AC unit, and the fridge leaked. The reception lady moved me promptly when I reported it. At first, the new room, sheets, and towels smelled moldy, maybe because of the humidity. The windows don't open, only the balcony door, and I recommend keeping it shut so huge cockroaches don't get inside, as happened to me. I saw the hotel's well-equipped laundry room, so the sheets and towels had been washed. After two days I no longer noticed the smell, either because I got used to it or something changed. Cleaning happened daily, including sheet and towel changes, but the results varied. The laundry was clean, though some items, especially towels, had stains that might have been dried white paint or bleach marks. They were blue rather than white, which I imagine would have made the marks look worse. Once I got thin, fluffy synthetic towels that were useless, but they were replaced right away. The room had what a not-too-picky solo traveler might need: a mini fridge, two water bottles and two instant coffee sachets each day, kettle, large bed, cabinet, safe, hair dryer, small work desk and TV, working AC, and even a sort of sofa. My room also had a large balcony with a table and two seats. The bathroom was decent but also due for renovation. There was no shower curtain even though I asked, so showering splashed the whole room, and the drain was slow enough to leave a puddle. There was no hot water at the sink, making shaving a bit rough, though the cold water wasn't really cold. The bidet hose was handy. The toilet seat looked old, with black tints that didn't seem scrub-able.

Outside noise carried on through the nights, and the room and bathroom felt old and worn out. They need major renovation.

A convenient location with easy access, and the staff were friendly. The bidet leaked, but they fixed it kindly and handled the issue well. It's budget friendly, so I'd recommend it if you want affordable accommodation in a handy spot.
