Pimnara Boutique Hotel Phuket Patong

This older property inside Jungceylon mall was a nice surprise. The front desk staff were 10/10, and the big rooms were in good shape. I slept well too. A room without windows keeps the noise from the bars out. With dozens of great food options in the mall, including indoor and outdoor seating, it's easy to find something to eat. The hallway carpets need replacing, but the rooms are clean and in good condition. I'll be back.

The rooms are nicely furnished, but the location is a real problem despite being close to Bangla Road. The hotel is inside a huge mall and hard to find. Cars can't reach it, so you're left searching on foot with all your luggage. Taxis can't pull up at the entrance either, which means it's unclear where they'll wait. Reception offers only basic help, and getting advice from staff is nearly impossible because communication is so difficult. My room smelled of sewage, and there was just one towel per person.

The hotel has a great location, and the rooms are stylish, beautiful, and comfortable. I really like the place and had a pleasant stay, but reception could use more training in guest relations. Over my 20 days there, the service sometimes felt impersonal. One young receptionist seemed more focused on money than the guest experience. At first she quoted me a higher rate without a receipt, then offered a better one when I brought up the online price. Housekeeping worked diligently, though they sometimes knocked again and again while we were resting. The young staff member who helped with our luggage was always polite, helpful, and courteous. A more professional approach at reception could make the experience truly excellent.

The room stayed clean and well maintained throughout my stay, and the service was smooth. Staff were consistently helpful and polite. The hotel is in a prime spot for getting around Phuket, and I'd definitely recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay.
