Sea Room's at Patong

We only stayed one night, and the comfortable room was decent for what we needed. It's a good base if you're planning to go out in Patong, as we did. The location feels a bit odd and the steps are narrow, but the hotel messaged us on WhatsApp ahead of time, so communicating was easy.

I only wanted to collect my room key when I arrived, but I couldn't get through beforehand. I called the number listed again and again over the few days before my trip, with no answer. The web chat and emails got no reply either. A former hotel employee said the phone number online was her personal direct line and she didn't know why it had been posted on travel sites. The hotel phone number seems to be fake.

It's right by the beach, and you can walk to just about everything. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I had a great stay. Finding the place takes some effort, though. The entrance is on the left, through the Family Mart store, just down from the police station by the beach. A much bigger sign out front would make it easier to spot.

The room itself is spacious and comfortable, but getting to it means using a narrow staircase, so big suitcases could be a problem. The shower was cold, and there’s no breakfast or pool. The hotel is literally inside a market, right in front of the main road. If you like Patong Beach crowds, that location may suit you. I don't.
