Sleep Box Patong - Hostel

I was glad to check out. This was my second stay at the hostel, and the room turned out smaller than it looked in the picture. The toilets smelled like urine all the time, and the cleanliness wasn’t being maintained. With people using the bathrooms constantly, they really should scrub them every day. I showered that morning with a strong urine smell in the bathroom and just couldn’t take it. On the first floor, the female and male dorms shared one toilet and one shower, which was manageable since there was another toilet on level 2. But upstairs there was no legroom at all, and the door shut right up against the toilet bowl. Absolutely not recommended.

A good budget option, with box beds that have personal storage, a kitchen, and washing machines you can use for a fee. The rooms stay quiet, without music blaring all night. It’s near Bangla Road and the beach.

The beds felt like bricks and were really uncomfortable. The maids were lovely, but with people constantly coming and going, you’ll probably get no sleep.

The little balcony was lovely, and it’s great value for money. My bed was comfortable and spacious, the room had a sliding door, and there was free water to refill. It was clean and quiet, the staff were lovely, and the location was perfect. My room was narrow and the toilet small, though there was plenty of space for luggage since some of the beds were empty. I loved staying here and would highly recommend the hostel.
