The Nice

We stayed five nights in the “Quiet Room” and had no problems at all. It was just like the photos, with a TV, hot water, toiletries, air conditioning, and outlets on both sides of the bed. The modern AC worked well and could be adjusted to our liking. Water pressure and temperature were fine, and the WiFi was reliable. The only small drawback was that the TV had local channels only, but that didn’t bother us. This isn’t a conventional hotel with five-star luxuries, but it deserves credit. If you want the room cleaned, just tell the staff. They did ours quickly and were very kind. The location is excellent, with motorbike rentals and good restaurants close by. We especially recommend Soi 8, right across the street. The main streets are walkable, and we rented a motorbike and parked it out front without trouble. It’s a comfortable, practical choice if you don’t want to pay for extras you don’t need. There’s also an elevator, which is surprisingly uncommon in many places.
