Asana Hotel & Residence

Breakfast was pathetic, with very few choices, and there seemed to be too little staff. The manager was cooking, serving food, and working at the front desk. Service and management fell well below expectations at Asana Hotel & Residence. We couldn’t get a response from room service after calling several times. At check-in, I was asked for a deposit that hadn’t been clearly mentioned beforehand. I’d also requested late checkout when checking in, but it wasn’t granted. Even though rooms were available, we weren’t given rooms on the same floor, which caused needless inconvenience. The whole stay was extremely unsatisfactory. I don’t recommend this hotel because of the poor service, lack of professionalism, and mismanagement.

The calm and privacy were a big part of what I enjoyed at Asana Hotel. It’s in a peaceful area away from the noise, but still close enough to walk to Walking Street. My room was spotless, with a thorough clean every day. Staff were outstanding and did more than expected to make me comfortable. I had an amazing stay, and highly recommend it for comfort, cleanliness, and quiet.

I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel. The situation is terrible. There’s no AC in the lobby or hallways, and sometimes none in the restaurant either. Most reception staff are rude and demand 500 baht for every guest who comes into the room, even for a short visit. That fee wasn’t mentioned in the hotel’s Booking.com listing or policy when I booked. I do want to thank Bew, the best employee at the hotel, and the restaurant staff too.

Strange for a 50-room hotel to have no baby cot. The AC wasn’t great, and staff called me at 11:30 am to remind me checkout was at 12, which I already knew.
