One of the worst check-in experiences I’ve had. The staff couldn’t find my reservation, then said no room was ready because someone hadn’t checked out. Even so, they demanded a deposit before they’d found me a room. One receptionist then got an attitude with me. I stopped talking, found another hotel, got a taxi, and left. 0/10, wouldn’t recommend.

I stayed one night with my son because we needed to visit immigration. The staff were amazing and very helpful, the pool was clean, and everyday necessities were within walking distance. We had a great stay.

Thanks to the staff and management of Avila Resort, Pattaya, for hosting us. The rooms and villas are spacious, comfortable, and convenient, with lovely greenery. Good value for money. Keep up the great work.

The air conditioning worked well, and there was a warm shower. The water wasn’t the cleanest, though, and the washing machine was only available in one building on the second floor. Tip: leave the air conditioning on to keep the mosquitoes out.

It’s very quiet and feels a little lonely. The rooms seem suitable for a three-star hotel, though the pool looks bigger in the photos than it does in real life. For the best internet connection, use the SSID "AB AP3" (970kB/s).
