The location is great, so that's where the two stars come from. Otherwise, avoid this place. The room smelled like old-man sweat, the walls are paper thin, and the aircon is too small for the room. The toilet's jet spray leaked and left a puddle that wouldn't stop. The restaurant took 20 minutes to make a latte, and it was undrinkable.
The owner is a Russian lady and very interactive, and the staff are friendly. Food was good, too. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach, local transport is easy to find, and Family Mart is right opposite. No worries!
I found bread/cigarette Beatles in the chilli flakes on my pizza, and ate a good portion of them on one slice before I noticed. It was dark, so I thought they were chilli seeds until they started moving on the cheese. The lady only took 20 baht off. Disgusting. Now I'm much more cautious with sauces and spices at outside restaurant tables. I reckon 80% of these places don't change them regularly. Mayo or ketchup can sit in the sun for 10 hours a day and get refilled maybe once a year. It's gross and not hygienic. If I have Beatle lava in my stomach, I'm not gonna be happy at all.
The pizza was great, too. I accidentally handed over a 1000 THB bill instead of a 100, and even in these difficult times they honestly pointed out the mistake. Absolute class, highly recommended.
It’s good value here. The staff are really friendly, the food is good, and it’s quiet. The beach, other restaurants, a convenience store and a pharmacy are all close by.
