DEL MAX resort Pattaya

Avoid this place. I arrived on Wednesday with all my luggage after agreeing on a monthly stay and paying a deposit on Sunday. They had shown me a photo of a room with a kitchen and said I'd be on the third floor. When I got there, they said the room was upstairs on the second floor and had no kitchen. That wasn't what we agreed to. They also told me they would only take cash when I tried to pay by card, so I went to get cash. When I asked for a full refund over the room mix-up, they tried to give me 1,000 baht less than I had paid. I was left stranded without anywhere to stay and stressed about finding another place. I'm not happy and would advise people to avoid it.

It was so quiet, which was a lovely surprise. The room had a comfortable bed, a big fridge and a sofa. The balcony could fit a chair and table. The front desk staff were great. They sorted out little problems right away, like dead batteries in the remotes. There are small restaurants and laundry places nearby.

I've been coming here for three years and have spent more than a year and a half here in total. It's one of the best places in all of Pattaya, a beautiful little oasis, and I really can't find anything to complain about. The resort is central, and you're treated well and looked after. There's a restaurant that can bring food right to your room, and a big compliment to the cook Natty 🙏. I'd highly recommend it 🙃

Lisa, the manager, is so sweet and knowledgeable, always helpful and looking after what guests need. The food at the restaurant is delicious 😋. It's a small, cozy boutique hotel with a beautiful pool, and the whole place looks stunning. It was recently renovated, so everything feels brand new and lovely. The area is peaceful, but still very close to the center. It really has that “home away from home” feeling. I highly recommend staying at Del Max!!! 👍 For Israelis, ask Lisa for Max's mobile number.
