Encore Beachside

The ocean view was the best part of my vacation at Asia Pattaya Hotel. I even took a video from in front of the hotel looking out over the water. It’s a peaceful, refreshing spot, especially at sunrise and sunset, and the direct access to a quieter stretch of beach made it feel calmer and more private than crowded tourist spots. Staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist, so the stay was smooth and comfortable. The room was decent, clean, and functional, though a little dated. Its view made up for that. I’d recommend the hotel for a relaxing getaway with a lovely sea view and peaceful atmosphere. Good value for a vacation stay.

The Sunset Bar stood out, new and cosy enough to feel like a different property. The hotel’s sunset view is lovely if you’re stopping by for the evening. Being right next to the beach is hard to beat, and the pool is good for the price. My room looked old, and although some renovations seemed to have been done, they didn’t feel complete. The water pressure was always low but still worked. The bathroom needs attention from an engineer, and there were small defects around the room that could use a closer look. It was clean and tidy aside from the engineer’s small touch-up work. Breakfast seemed in line with the price, but the weekend queue needs better management. It was overcrowded, there weren’t enough seats, and people had to share tables.

The pictures gave me the impression of a pleasant hotel, but the real stay was disappointing. The room had a nice view and plenty of space, yet the furniture and other items were old, dusty, and poorly maintained. It smelled unpleasant, like it hadn’t been cleaned properly, and felt neglected. The shower was broken, and I spotted spider webs behind the small table. Hallway carpets were dirty and smelly, as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years. There was dust and dirt around, and water was leaking from the ceiling. The experience didn’t match what I expected from the hotel photos.

We had a very pleasant stay at Asia Pattaya Hotel, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. Our sea view room was fantastic, and waking up to the ocean made the visit feel special. Breakfast had a good range of fresh, well-prepared options, and we looked forward to it each morning. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone after a comfortable, scenic place to stay in Pattaya.
