The hosts are what made my week at Freeway Pattaya. My original AirB&B rental was occupied when I arrived, and they took me in as an unexpected guest at nearly 1:00am. They went well beyond what I could have expected, and their hospitality kept me there for the week. It’s a small, family-owned boutique hotel. The rooms are clean, exceptionally large, and tucked away from the beach bustle, while still close enough to Jomtien or Pattaya. The room was spotless, and the hosts offered laundry service and were happy to take us grocery shopping and come along while we picked up supplies. I highly recommend Freeway Pattaya. If you don’t HAVE to be on the beach, you won’t regret staying here.

Melanie looked after us so well, and the apartment was just right for relaxing or having guests over. My girlfriend and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Soi Buhkao is four minutes away, and local legend bad boy Troy can show you around. This place is a gem.

Gay and Melanie are the heart of this place. They’re wonderful hosts who are always around and willing to help with anything, and they even make free coffee and cappuccinos and sit down for a chat. You get to know them like family. Other tenants sometimes join in, so there’s a real sense of community here unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed. I’ve been coming for years and, once I found it, didn’t want to stay anywhere else in pattaya. The rooms are spacious and stylish, and the lush outdoor area feels like a tropical jungle. Inside is more impressive than the outside suggests, and visitors are always impressed. It’s a peaceful little pocket, away from big buildings, traffic, and chaos, but a five-minute ride takes you to central pattaya, the fine dining of pratumnak, or the quieter Jomtien area. Just down the quaint dirt road on the right is the best authentic Thai restaurant shack in town. The food is delicious and inexpensive, and they treat you like family too. I go almost daily. I can’t recommend this gem enough. You’ll be lucky to find it. Thank me later.
