The bed was good and the pool was nice, but breakfast costs far too much and should be included. You could eat out on the street at least 10 times for what one hotel breakfast costs. A fitness room might make the price feel more worthwhile. As it is, nearby comparable places are available for 30-50% less, so the price doesn't make much sense.

The food is delicious, especially the soup and spicy spaghetti. It's peaceful here, though a bit far from the beach. Breakfast coffee costs an extra 60 baht unless you have black coffee, and there's a 500 baht deposit.

We'd spent three nights at another Pattaya hotel and left with a really bad impression, so finding The Sala for the final night of our trip was lucky. It's now on our must-visit list for next year, and we'll recommend it to everyone. We felt at home thanks to the front desk staff, who were always smiling and ready to help. The room was wonderful, with a super-comfy bed, a well-designed bathroom with everything needed, four pillows, free water bottles, and a bathrobe and slippers for the pool. The hotel is extremely quiet, with no traffic or parties, just local neighbors. There's not much around, which I actually liked. It's a five-minute walk to a pharmacy, 7/11, and other shops. The only things I'd improve are adding corridor carpet to soften the sound of luggage wheels, and better soundproofing on the main room doors. Such a little paradise 🥰🥰🙏 Thank you so much!!

It's tucked away from Pattaya's busy areas, which makes for a nice stay. Restaurants are within walking distance, and Jomtien Beach is a quick grab ride away.

This is a review from two years ago, so sorry it's late. The hotel was good, but it's not near the beach, so you'll need your own transport. Avoid a city-view room, though: the motorbikes and dogs were noisy around the clock. The pool view was okay. Two years ago the room was AUD 74, but Agoda now shows AUD 98. I just got back from traveling around the Philippines, where AUD 50 was an average room price. Those rooms weren't as nice as this one, but they were good enough. Thailand is pricing itself out of the budget holiday market. I'm never paying close to AUD 100 for a hotel in Thailand!
