I keep coming back twice a year, and have done that for 10 years. I like the food, the staff, and how central it is. Walking Street is a 3-minute walk, the beach is 1 minute away, and a 10-baht bus takes you to Central Festival or Terminal 21 for shopping. The Thai and Western dishes are both great, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms can be noisy, though that seems common in Pattaya, so earplugs help. For the price and location, it’s phenomenal, but it’s a budget place with no frills and plenty of similarly priced options. Fine for a few days or a week, depending on your expectations.

The staff were nice, and I enjoyed some of the free food they had out for a staff member’s birthday. My first room, 403, was in bad shape, with no TV and a broken light. They moved me to a better room for the second night, but wouldn’t discount the first night. Aside from that room, I enjoyed my stay.

The hosts were friendly and cooperative, and there’s a nice bar and restaurant on the ground floor. It’s also easy to reach the shopping area and restaurants, with the beach road just two buildings away. Walking Street is about 3-4 minutes on foot. The rooms are roomy and cozy, with air conditioning. There’s no elevator, but I could overlook that. A very handy place to stay for travelers.

I left as soon as I could. The room was dusty, the furniture was broken, and the doors were sticky. There was old underwear on the window, a mouldy black fridge full of water that stank, and a bathroom full of long black hairs. The three windows wouldn’t close, so the noise felt like having a party in the room until 5am or later. The towels had footprints on them, and the bathrooms hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. I even removed some wall stains with just water. Don’t come here.
