Grand Hotel

The family suite worked well for us, with two bedrooms, two washrooms, and a kitchen. The room was comfortable for the price and location, and the lobby and reception area were nice. The shower looked a little alarming, but the hot water and pressure were good. You're here for the action, not a quiet night: music and scooters go on late. My father's snoring on the big comfy bed even drowned out the bad karaoke outside. It's right on Walking Street, close to the beach and food, and there's an elevator that feels like it might chop your limbs off. A clean, safe base for groups or families who can handle the noise. I'd absolutely come back.

The rooms and location were excellent, but the staff could have been friendlier. Most had unpleasant expressions, apart from one person who was helpful. Check-out was the worst part: they charged me over a hand towel with a smudge that was completely washable. One staff member even had the nerve to tell me to wash it myself. Terrible.

This place felt like heaven, and I had my best vacation here. The rooms were on another level. Such a, very, very good hotel. You should come here.

I was left waiting in the lobby for hours while the receptionist refused to open my room. I asked her again and again, but she still didn't let me in. Her behavior was awful, and she shouldn't be working as a receptionist. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in.
