InterContinental Pattaya Resort by IHG

The resort's green, tropical setting was one of my favorite parts. Walking around at sunset with the sea breeze felt wonderful, and the whole place made it easy to relax without wanting to go elsewhere. Breakfast had a nice selection of Thai and Western food too. We had an Ocean View room on the 4th floor at InterContinental Pattaya Resort. Waking up to the sea in such a peaceful atmosphere felt like a break from everyday chaos. Nong Ta, one of the butlers, was especially good. Extra pillows, tea, ice, and other things we requested arrived quickly, always with a cheerful attitude. Asking never felt like a bother. The service throughout, from check-in onward, was warm, professional, and attentive. It was a really restful stay that helped me recharge, and I'll definitely come back.

We’ve stayed here three times in recent years, and each visit has been a positive one. The Club InterContinental was pleasant, with a reasonable selection at each service, and we had access through our status along with a nice upgrade to a refurbished room. The grounds are extensive and green. It’s a large, older resort on the beachfront cliffside, but it’s in good condition. There are three pools: a shallow one for families, a deeper main pool, and a smaller, narrow, quieter one. Getting around means taking stairs or using the buggy service. Shops and restaurants outside the resort aren’t within an easy walk, so you’ll need transport. Staff were friendly, thoughtful, and efficient, and handled our room cleaning and turndown timing request well.

Suttida’s kindness and upbeat energy made our meal at Elements Dining, InterContinental Pattaya Resort, feel special. She treated us like family and made the whole day brighter. The food was delicious, from Thai favorites to the international selection, and the ocean views were lovely, but her care stood out most. She greeted us with a big, warm smile, remembered what we liked, and explained the dishes and drinks clearly. Her English was excellent, and she answered all our questions. She checked on us at just the right moments, never rushing us or leaving us waiting. Polite and professional, but also natural and friendly, she went out of her way to make sure everything was right. Suttida really showed the warmth and helpfulness of Thai hospitality. If you visit, ask for her. The Club Lounge became a favorite spot for a quiet afternoon tea or an evening cocktail. We also appreciated being able to order room service at any hour and eat privately while enjoying the ocean view. Our room was beautifully looked after, and that view made time spent there feel special. The staff were warm, attentive, and ready to help, so the whole stay felt relaxed and welcoming. We chose InterContinental Hotels & Resorts for our 20-year anniversary because it’s the brand where we got married. That connection made celebrating here feel meaningful, and it was unforgettable. It’s also close to home, so this feels like somewhere we’ll return to again and again.
