The pool was the best part for me. It was great, and sometimes I had it all to myself. The beach was nice too, close by and good for a swim, though there was some trash. Staff were okay. The rest of the hostel was rough: I stayed a week, but should have moved somewhere else. The dorm had 20 people, smelled of mold, and there was visible mold on the wall beside my bed. My curtain was broken and barely closed, and the lockers were tiny, so most people left their bags on the floor. I kept mine in bed beside me because I was worried about theft. The bathrooms smelled awful and stayed damp, so I went to McDonald's to use the toilet and showered by the pool. There was nowhere to dry clothes either. People hung them in the toilet area, which was still damp and smelly. There were also strange older men watching me swim, a young European woman. I paid 4.35€ a night in mid-March. One of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The eight-bed room was a great deal for the price: spacious and clean, with an ensuite bathroom, refrigerator and towel. There’s a big food market and lots of bars nearby, and the beach is an easy walk away. Arriving at night was a little confusing. I went through a small door and up to the second floor, where there was no reception desk or anyone around. The place also looked different from the booking app and Google Maps, so I called the number to check I was in the right spot. A guest confirmed it, then a staff member showed up a few minutes later and checked me in quickly.

I’ve never seen a worse hotel. Inside, it felt creepy, and the staff had no manners and didn’t even smile. The room was extremely cramped, with more than 20 beds. Management was no help and seemed unable to understand anything. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Get out of there.

I really liked the hostel, so I don’t know why its ratings are so poor. The beds are comfortable, and there’s a locking cabinet. It seems to be open around the clock, though I can’t remember for sure. You can work on a laptop here and meet people from different countries. Some people are unpleasant, but that’s not the hostel’s fault.
